The Fredonia Township Fire Department is currently staffed by 18 paid-on-call firefighters proudly serving the residents of Fredonia Township and neighboring Eckford Township.
We have a coverage area of approximately 50 square miles, which includes all of Fredonia Township, six miles of I-69, and a portion of Eckford Township.
We are dispatched to approximately 140 incidents per year by the Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch Authority, responding to a wide range of calls including fires, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, and power lines down.
We work closely with the Marshall Area Fire Fighters Ambulance Authority, Calhoun County Sheriff Department, Michigan State Police, and neighboring fire departments.
