In 2009 the Fredonia Township Board of Trustees decided to enlist the help from Mike Farmer, to enforce our zoning ordinances. Zoning ordinances are in place to protect and preserve the community and allow certain types of business in certain areas, as to not affect others in their normal daily lives. Such example would include a factory being built in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the noise alone would affect everyone living in that area, much less everything else that a factory naturally brings with it.
